The HD Podcast #35- This Week's HD News

Hello everyone, I hope you had a good week and since it's almost the end of the weekend, it's time to give you this week's HD news. So here's what is going on in the world of HD this week....

-For those of you who can't decide on whether to buy Blue Ray or HD-DVD, Samsung has helped your choice become a bit easier.

-Direct TV launched their most important satelitte ever this week. Yes that's right, the satellite that will bring the much promised 150 HD channels is now in space and is being set up to broadcast those channels by the end of this year.

-DishNetwork announced they will be adding 7 new HD channels beginning on August 15th.

-No HD for Tivo unbox

-There is a very strong rumor that I've picked up on that says Toshiba may be selling an HD-DVD player beginng on July 22 for 99 dollars.
